Hi everybody it’s been a while since my last newsletter but I just wanted to say a big ‘hello’ and hope you are all well and enjoying life.
I continue to Headline for many major cruise lines and even a few new ones, including Disney!! I have also performed at some great venues in Florida including The Del Webb Community and have a huge concert coming up on Saturday 25th August at The Villages which I’m absolutely thrilled about. The venue for this concert is the amazing Sharon L Morse Performing Arts Center which seats 1200 people, so I’m looking forward to seeing many of my USA fans there! I have my super 8 piece band backing me and a great technical team of sound and lights so this should be an amazing night and could be the start of great things……watch this space!

I have been working extremely hard on some new hip and exciting material for my show. I have included Ed Sheeran and Avicci tunes which went down a storm at my two performances at The Osceola School of Performing Arts here in Orlando. It was a great honor to be asked to perform for the Osceola County Schools at this fantastic school which teaches extremely gifted student performers in all aspects of music, art and performance. I would like to thank Pamela Haas and Debbie Fahmie for this fabulous opportunity and if I’ve inspired any of these talented individuals in any way through my performances this week then that would make me very happy indeed. I’ve never seen so many string players perform under one roof in my life and it was an experience I’ll never forget. Seeing and meeting these wonderful kids certainly inspired me and I look forward to the next time!
Earlier this year I again had the great honor to join my Brother Water Rats in Las Vegas for a few days of great fun and camaraderie. This was the second year in a row, we were invited to the magnificent Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino by Owner and Founder and Brother Companion Rat Robert Earle Jr and his Father, Water Rat Robert Snr. A truly fabulous week concluded with a Rat’s lodge meeting in Robert’s lavish penthouse suite overlooking the famous Vegas strip and the Bellagio dancing fountains. I had the very great honor of being Pro Tem Musical Rat and I played our anthems as Pro Tem King Rat Ian Richards and the rest of my Brother Rats entered the lodge. It was a brilliant lodge and we never stopped laughing from beginning to end.
As most of you will know my family and I have been living in the beautiful town of Celebration, Orlando for the last few years. We really are loving our dream life in Florida and have met and made so many wonderful friends here.
I continue to fly around the world Headlining on the ships and I’m beginning to do more and more concerts here in the USA which was one of my main aims when we decided to move to Florida. With the power of social media and the aid of all the modern technology we are only a click away from seeing and speaking to all our friends and family back in the UK so we never feel so far away.
We never know what’s around the corner but for now I continue to live and enjoy life and to entertain my fabulous audiences. Long may it continue!
